Dear Parents and Community Members,
Welcome to the White Pigeon Community Schools website!! If you are a current member of our school community, we thank you for making White Pigeon your schools of choice! If you are learning more about our district, I would like to share a few reasons why White Pigeon Community Schools should be your schools of choice.
White Pigeon Community Schools offers quality classroom instruction at all levels. Student performance on the state MEAP test and high school MME test ranks at or near the top in most areas in St. Joseph County . White Pigeon offers a small school environment and a welcoming and inviting school climate. It is small enough to meet the individual needs of every student but large enough to offer quality programs. White Pigeon Community Schools has a lot to be proud of. It is a great school working hard to get better everyday.
- We are near completion of a 5 million dollar sinking-fund project that will add new energy efficient heating equipment, new ceilings and lighting equipment, new roofs, new windows and doors, and new bleachers and lockers to our schools.
- Small class sizes to allow for individualized attention. Central Elementary has the smallest class sizes in the area with classes averaging around 19 students per class .
- Central Elementary has MEAP scores that lead the county.
- All day everyday kindergarten and young fives.
- Michigan School Readiness Program.
- Extra curricular programs such as Science Olympiad, Clue Me In, Quiz Bowl, and Middle School Math Meet.
- Outstanding athletic and music programs at the middle and high school level.
- Strong school spirit and Chief Pride!
