My name is Brooke McClure and I am the new Assistant Principal at Central Elementary. I graduated from White Pigeon in 2004. I received my Bachelors in Science from Western Michigan University and obtained my teaching certificate in Physical Education. After getting my degree I taught two years at Centreville Public Schools and then was hired by White Pigeon Community Schools to teach Physical Education at the elementary. While teaching, I received my Masters Degree at Central Michigan University in Educational Leadership in 2017.
My family and I reside in White Pigeon and I I have a 21 year old daughter, Tarah, who graduated from White Pigeon in 2019. I also have a 13 year old daughter, Sydney, who will be in 8th grade this year.
In my free time I enjoy coaching sports, such as, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. I love watching Sydney play basketball, volleyball, and run track. I also enjoy spending time with my family on the lake and enjoying the beach and boat. I love Notre Dame football and women’s basketball. Also, college basketball is my favorite to watch every year, especially during March Madness.
I am very excited for this new chapter in my career, especially being at Central Elementary. I love my White Pigeon community and I am beyond blessed that I get to work where I grew up. I want to help support students and their families while they are growing up here like I did. I look forward to making many more strong relationships with all our families and continue to be the best school we can be for our kids.
