Central Elementary Principal
My name is Eric Kistler, and I am honored to become a new member of the Central Elementary Family. When I talk to members of the district who are familiar with Central, all say a similar thing - “You are lucky to be part of a great and supportive school.” Please understand, I hear this message and plan to continue to build upon the supportive climate. I am looking forward to developing positive relationships with students, families, staff and the community.
I am nearing Year 40 in public education. I have spent the last five years as the assistant principal and athletic director at the high school. Throughout my career it has always been a goal to make the learning environment fun, caring, and supportive. School should be a place where students and parents feel welcome. To attain this, the school to home partnership needs to be strong. Communication and a team approach between the school and our families is key to creating an extraordinary school experience.
My wife and I live in the district and have been fortunate to have raised three wonderful children. We recently welcomed our first grandchild.
I am excited to meet each of you. We plan to have a memorable year - one in which we will work hard, play hard, and treat all with respect. Together we will make positive contributions to the Central Elementary Family.
