My name is Chris Griffith and I am teaching 3rd Grade at Central Elementary. I grew up in Saginaw; my family and I moved to Three Rivers in 1979. I graduated from TRHS and then attended Glen Oaks. I continued my education at Western Michigan University where I majored in English and received my Bachelor of Arts. I have been teaching since 1991 and have had the privilege of working with children and their families in Grades 1, 2, 3, and 5.
In September of 2012, I was hired to work in the Title I Room at Central Elementary. I worked with the First Graders in Math and Reading and enjoyed the time I spent with them. My favorite part of the day while I was in the Title Room was supervising lunch and recess for the First and Second Grades.
I am married to Daryl and have two children, Amelia and Neil. We enjoy spending time with family, traveling to different states and camping in our adorable trailer where we visit state parks mainly on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Petoskey State Park and Tawas Point State Park rank as our two favorites.
I am proud to be a “Chief”! I am committed to creating a positive and rewarding educational experience for my students.
